I’m contacting you anonymously but greatly approve of what you’re doing as I have unfortunately had dealings with Charles in the past. To be as charitable as possible I would describe Charles as an extraordinarily dishonest, technically and commercially incompetent gaslighter.
It became increasingly clear during our business relationship that the man had almost no technical knowledge whatsoever in the field of nanotechnology but was very good at sounding authoritative to the uninitiated (which I was, unfortunately!). If only your blog had existed during our initial encounter.
